Offline-first architecture
Entitlement per package
ADR-0006 and ADR-0007: a package is used offline under a signed entitlement file that names the package and its elements. Its licence kind is free; an updates-until date is a reserved mechanism that never ends the right to run the installed version or to reach one's data. Online features need short-lived signed grants from the company host; the host and key custody are not built.
Built in the repository (checked files or tested library code; not a product you can run yet)
What to plan for
- Host design open
- Device binding open
- Grant renewal fails soft
